Public Meeting

Please come along on Tues Night next, November 26th 8pm to a Public Meeting in the Summer Hill House Hotel chaired by Stephen Byrne from Enniskerry Forum.

Wicklow County Council (WCC) recently supported the proposal to offer the Enniskerry community a long term lease in respect of the Bog Meadow by a significant voting majority. The finalised lease arrived this week from WCC. At this stage we would like to confirm our Public Meeting to present the lease, its purpose, the new company structure required to manage that lease. Additionally, we will discuss how this protects the Bog Meadow and its facilities for the use of all the community, but importantly allows us now create a long term plan for the improvement of those facilitates. Replacing the Cage with a Multi-User All Weather playing surface, providing a modern Community Centre, quickly delivering a Children’s playground would be central themes in that overall plan.
