Wicklow County Council has published the following documents that are highly relevant to the future of Enniskerry:

• Proposed Amendments to the County Development Plan

• 2nd Chief Executive’s Report on Public Consultation on the Draft Plan

Please click on each of these headings to access the documents online. They are also available for inspection from 25 July 2016 to 26 August 2016 inclusive at the following locations (during normal opening hours):

• Planning Department, Wicklow County Council, County Buildings, Station Road, Wicklow Town
• Greystones Municipal District, Mill Road, Greystones
• Arklow Municipal District, Castle Park, Arklow
• Bray Municipal District, Civic Offices, Main Street, Bray
• Baltinglass Municipal District, Blessington Business Park, Blessington
• All branches of Wicklow libraries

They are long and complex documents as they deal with the entire county. However, by searching for “Enniskerry” you will quickly find the aspects that relate to our village and environs. We strongly encourage you to take the time to scan the documents. If you wish to make a submission, the following instructions are provided by Wicklow County Council:

Written submissions or observations specifically in relation to the Proposed Amendments and/or the Addendum Reports are invited on or before 5.00pm on 26 August 2016.

• All submissions should include the relevant proposed amendment number
• Include your name and a contact address (where relevant include details of any organisation, community group or company etc., which you represent)
• Submissions may be made in one of the following ways:
  1. Write to: Administrative Officer, Planning Department, Wicklow County Council, Station Road, Wicklow
  2. Email to: planreview@wicklowcoco.ie
• Please make your submission by one medium only, i.e. hard copy or e-mail
• Please note all submissions/observations are a matter of public record, and may also be placed on the County Council’s website
• All valid submissions will be taken into consideration before the making of any amendment
