Wicklow County Council (WCC) yesterday November 4^th supported the proposal to offer a lease in respect of the Bog Meadow by a significant majority. This now clears the way to put in place a long term plan to improve the Bog Meadow as an important community facility for the Enniskerry community. The final lease document is still awaited from WCC and is expected in the next few days. As previously stated no lease will be signed or anything else put in place with WCC until a public meeting takes place and there is broad community support. Tuesday November 26^th is the proposed date for this meeting and this will be confirmed shortly.

As previously stated WCC will continue to have full ownership of the Bog Meadow and any use of the Bog Meadow will be restricted to community based activities.

Once the date for the public meeting is confirmed a notice will be issued.
