The Future of Enniskerry – Public Meeting this Thursday 7.30pm
Planning the Future of Enniskerry
Enniskerry Forum has succeeded in raising €10,000 in Leader funding to be spent on the development of a 5 year Village Development Plan. Downey Hynes Partnership (www.dhp.ie) has been commissioned by Enniskerry Forum to identify recommendations for action to inform the development of the plan. As part of this process which involves widespread consultation with the Enniskerry Community, DHP have organised a workshop at which people will be able to hear more about the process and offer their ideas and suggestions. Enniskerry Forum are hosting this workshop in the Powerscourt Arms Country House from 7.30pm to 9.30pm on Thursday 24th January. It is open to all members of the community.
What is the workshop about?
The workshop is to help scope out and draw up a community led 5 year Development Plan for Enniskerry Village. The purpose of this study is to provide recommendations that will enhance the village environment and for social and economic projects in the areas of tourism and heritage.
Who should attend?
Anyone with an interest in sharing their views about the future development of the village and who would like to take part in the collaborative process of generating ideas is encouraged to attend.
