Powerscourt National School
The school is located in a newly constructed facility on the Cookstown Road facing St Patrick’s Church. Until 2012 the school occupied a site in the centre of Enniskerry Village that was built in 1818. It is a three teacher school with 76 pupils.

St. Mary’s and St. Gerard’s National School, Enniskerry
St. Mary’s and St. Gerard’s N.S. is a Catholic Primary School with an enrolment of 250 pupils. It caters for boys and girls from the local parish and it has one stream going from Junior Infants (4 years 3 months minimum) to sixth class, at which point they enter the various Secondary Schools. The school, while following the curriculum laid down by the Department of Education and Science also offers extra curricula activities – Ballet, Chess, Speech & Drama, Irish Dancing, Horse Riding etc. The Christmas Concert is the highlight of the year and all the children are encouraged to play an active role in both the school and the community. The school is governed by the Board of Management elected every 3 years and it has a very vibrant and active Parents Association which acts as a support for the school. St Patrick’s National School, Curtlestown, Enniskerry
The earliest reference to a school here is 1826. The National school was established in 1834. The current building was built in 1960 and extended in1984. St. Patrick’s is a three teacher co-educational school under the patronage of the Catholic Archbishop of Dublin, and , while reflecting a Catholic ethos, all are welcome without prejudice. Enrolment in recent years is approximately 80 pupils in classes from Junior Infants to 6th class. The Curriculum is the revised National Primary School Curriculum of the Department of Education and Science with the addition of German for Senior Classes.
