Proposed construction of 28 dwellings on Cookstown Road

Planning permission was recently granted for the construction of construction of 28 dwelling units, comprising of six apartments (two 1-bed and four 2-bed units) in a two storey block, four 5-bed two storey detached units (ranging from 260sqm-268sqm), ten 5-bed two storey detached units (200sqm) and eight 3-bed two storey detached units (125sqm) on a site on Cookstown Road opposite Enniskerry Demesne.

Enniskerry Forum has been advised that a number of people in the community propose lodging objections to the proposed development with An Bord Pleanala. While Enniskerry Forum is not anti-development and does not take positions on individual planning applications, in light of the scale of the proposed development, the Forum has agreed to hold a public meeting to facilitate the sharing of information in relation to the proposed development.

The meeting will take place in the Powerscourt Arms Country House Hotel on Tuesday 26th April at 7.30pm. All are welcome.
