National Geographic has just let the whole world in on a little secret the Enniskerry community thought it could keep to itself!

Yes, Powerscourt Gardens has just been voted at Number 3 in the list of the World’s Top 10 Gardens. This amazing achievement elevates the jewel that is Powerscourt to a position of global recognition and should have substantial tourism benefits for Powerscourt and Enniskerry. As an indication of just how outstanding this award is, the top two gardens on the list were Chateau de Versailles and the Royal Botanic Gardens at Kew – see the full list here.
