Graduation with a difference!
On Monday June 22nd sixth-class pupils from St. Mary’s and St. Gerard’s National School with graduate…with a difference!
As part of this year’s graduation, the graduates and their families will drive to the church carpark to collect a gift from the school. When this concludes, at approximately 8/8:15pm, they will leave the church carpark in convoy and drive a lap of the village. The school has invited parents, children and other local residents to form a guard of honour on the paths around Enniskerry village as the convoy drives past. While standing socially distanced from other families, everybody can cheer the sixth-class pupils as they and their families leave the church carpark and advance around the village.
The convoy will turn right out the church gate, drive down to the crossroads, straight up Forge Road, turn left at the top of Forge Road, proceed down into the village, turn left after the Clock Tower back up to the crossroads, right at the crossroads and past the school one last time.
Please come out and help make this a memorable night for this year’s 6th class pupils.
