We were delighted to receive the following glowing (and witty!) review from some American visitors to Enniskerry. Well done to the Ritz Carlton, Mac’s Bar and the traders and people of Enniskerry who clearly made these people so welcome to our village.

My daughter, Chaley, and I just returned to the States, after a week at the Ritz Carlton Powercourt.  To travelers, I would warn them,  stay away from the village of Enniskerry unless they want to fall in love with the land and the folks who live there.

We visited most of the shops and were delighted with the warm welcome.

A quaint village built around a “round a bout”! how fun! I would warn of the DANGER if entering Mac’s pub.  Instant love! A honest feeling of warmth and welcoming smiles!!

Although, I am sure, we are just another couple tourist, to us it was genuine kindness.  You touched out hearts forever!!!

I hope some day to return.
