The aim and activities of Protect Knocksink Nature Reserve are to preserve, enhance and protect the Special Area of Conservation Knocksink Wood Nature Reserve.

To create a great sense of participation, community and inclusivity as well as protecting, conserving and enhancing Knocksink Wood Nature Reserves biodiversity and habitat.

To ensure its environs are not used in a manner that would negatively affect Knocksink Wood Nature Reserve.

Activities to date include guided walks to enhance understanding of Knocksink Woods SAC, field workshops, supporting the nature reserve with clean up days.
