Enniskerry Public Meeting & AGM: Monday 22nd October
ENNISKERRY FORUM – PUBLIC MEETING & AGM OCTOBER 22ND
POWERSCOURT ARMS HOTEL @ 8.00PM
Enniskerry Forum has been involved in a number of activities and initiatives during the last 12 months and we want to bring the community up to date on progress and issues that have arisen.
We have applied for Leader funding to have a 5 year vision / plan undertaken for the village to encompass heritage, tourism and other related issues. We believe that this funding will be forthcoming and will enable the village to have a professional overview undertaken that will assist us in future discussions with Wicklow County Council and other relevant bodies.
There are still outstanding issues from the Traffic Study that was done in 2010. One issue in particular is parking in and around the village. We want to put some options to the community that have been suggested to us.
There will be other items to be discussed but the 2 most important and urgent are those mentioned above. We would, therefore, strongly suggest that you try and attend this meeting and make any friends and neighbours aware of the date and time. A detailed agenda will be issued prior to the meeting.
The AGM will also take place at the meeting where the main business will be the approval of accounts, amendment of the constitution to introduce borrowing powers and the (re)election of committee members. Anybody wishing to put themselves forward for election is very welcome to do so and should send their details to enniskerryforum@gmail.com no later than Friday 19th October.
