We have a safe talk course booked for Saturday the 11th of October from   14.00 in the afternoon until  17.30. in the Parochial Hall in Enniskerry, there is no charge for this course. Eileen Durkan is looking after the booking of places and organising the course with the   H.S.E. This course is run on behalf of the soccer and Gaelic clubs of Enniskerry, and Enniskerry Heartsavers, If you or any one you know might be interested  please contact Eileen on 0866063537. SafeTALK Program Goals include:

1. Challenge attitudes that inhibit open talk about suicide.
2. Recognize a person who might be having thoughts of suicide.
3. Engage them in direct and open talk about suicide 4. Listen to the person’s feelings about suicide and show that they are taken seriously.
4. Move quickly to connect them with someone trained in suicide intervention.
