A group of key users of the Bog Meadow facility have been progressing the insurance claim and rebuild project. This matter has now been concluded and work has commenced.

The Enniskerry Forum in conjunction with the main users asked all interested parties to identify any areas that they might like accommodated in the rebuild. Based on the responses received, it was possible to include most of the requests on the wish list. A rebuild design has been finalised that will greatly enhance the facilities for the sports clubs, i.e. improved dressing rooms, etc. The improvements planned will make the facility more practical and user friendly. As part of this reconfiguration the “hall” area has been reduced but still remains as a useful location for meetings, functions, etc.

The Enniskerry community can now look forward to having a much improved facility in the village. The reconstruction work is sheduled to be completed in time for a Grand Opening celebration in mid-Summer!
