Well done to all the volunteers from Enniskerry Walking Association who completed a “clean up” of the Bog Meadow and surrounding area on Saturday.

The Spring Cleaners were blessed with a bright, cool and sunny morning. They split in to two groups to tackle the walk around the Bog Meadow area/football pitch and Monastery Road, through the water gap and back opposite Knocksink Wood.

They collected 12 bags of rubbish – mainly cans,bottles etc – in addition to old piping, buckets, number plates, hub caps and…an unloved toilet!
