Enniskerry Food Fest & Mad Hatter’s Garden Party: This weekend!!
It’s the first ever Enniskerry Food Fest and Mad Hatter’s Garden Party on the 28th & 29th June.
Enniskerry village centre will play host to our bright, bold and boisterous food extravaganza on Saturday the 28th. Our resident foodies will bring their style of cooking out to the street and create special dishes to show off their kitchen talents. We have invited many other diverse street food traders to join us and add colour and spectacle to the day. Food lectures and workshops for the children will keep you entertained while the sounds of cuban music will keep your feet tapping.
Sunday morning of the 29th June will begin with a lecture on “Nutrition for Teens in Sport” with notable speakers from various professional sporting bodies. This will be a must for all would be sporting hero’s plus their parents, coaches and managers.
From 1pm onwards, the grounds of St Patricks Church will play host to The mad Hatters garden party complete with live entertainment, lots of kids activities & a host of surprises along the way. A great event & a great day out for all the family so put the date in your diary to pack a picnic & the ‘maddest’ hat you can find…..

Children’s food workshops
Hands on workshop for all ages in the art of making sausages. Children will bring home their own handmade sausages to cook for dinner! Open to ages 6yrs upwards. Fully supervised and delivered by Ed Hick of Hicks Foods. Tickets: €10 Venue: Upstairs @ Old Forge Inn

11-4pm – Street Food Theatre
Presented by renowned chef Rory Morahan, better known to many as the “The Druid Chef”, who hails from Bray. Rory will work from his mobile kitchen and will create his bright and bountiful “Meet, Greet, Eat on the Street” A series of Cookery demonstrations using the finest ingredients from our abundant county and its artisan producers. Meet the man that can cook as fast as he talks, with a deep understanding, of the beauty and history around us! He will delight our palate with seasonal tastes from the “Wicklow Garden” cooked on the street with downloadable recipes. Free demo’s all day/Times will be posted Venue: Town Clock |
10-5pm – A bright, bold and boisterous “Street Food Market” showcasing eclectic foods from around the world plus sampling products from suppliers already selling to our resident foodies. |
10-5pm – Our resident food businesses create street impact and signature dishes outside their own premises while others offer in house speciality menus to woo the palate and quench the thirst! |
10pm – 1am 80’s Dance Club…….

Family Event:
2-7pm – “MAD HATTER’S GARDEN PARTY” Featuring the Dublin Brass Band. Family day out so bring a picnic or delight in the various artisan food traders on site tempting you with: Cake & Sweet stalls, Crepe’s, Vintage Coffee Van plus an array of hot food from around the world. Entertainment to amuse the children and the highlight of the day will be our hat competition…………………. Make or wear the Maddest Hat in your wardrobe and enter the “Hat Walk” Competition, judged by creative milliner Jean Condron from Hats by Jean.
