Finnerty School of Irish Dancing has brought traditional Irish dancing to the beautiful village of Enniskerry, in the heart of Co Wicklow. In less than ten years the school has gained an outstanding reputation for nurturing young dancers all the way from beginners to advanced dancers who compete for top prizes at national championships.

Jamie and Breeda Finnerty set up this Irish dance school over 9 years ago. Starting with just a few children, the school quickly grew in reputation and now teaches dancers ranging in age from 5 to 15 at the Parochial Hall in the centre of Enniskerry village. We have gone from strength to strength and are delighted that the Finnerty School of Irish dancing has become a special feature of activity for children in Enniskerry over the years.

Classes are held on Saturday morning 10.15 a.m. for beginners and at 10.45 a.m. for advancing dancers who continue through to the more senior class from 11.00 a.m.  We also run a class for more advanced dancers taking part in CRN Feiseanna and Feile one evening during the week.

Jamie and Breeda are very proud of the many wonderful young dancers who have been part of the Finnerty School of Irish Dancing class over the years and look forward to many more years of teaching Irish dancing in Enniskerry.
