A packed Powerscourt Arms played host to the launch on 30th August of a superb Visitor Guide to Enniskerry. The booklet, which was published by Enniskerry Forum, includes a history of Enniskerry, descriptions of many of the village’s main landmarks and illustrated guides to six walks in and around Enniskerry.
At the launch, Stephen Byrne, Chairman of Enniskerry Forum, particularly thanked Frank Tracy who put a huge effort into writing the booklet, PD Lynch who helped illustrate the booket with wonderful photographs and Patricia Walker of Enniskerry Forum who was instrumental in co-ordinating the publication of the the Visitor Guide.
The Visitor Guide is available for just €3 from many of the shops around Enniskerry. It can also be ordered and sent by post anywhere in the world at a cost of €5 – enquiries to Gilly Carey at firstname.lastname@example.org.
