The next meeting of the gardening club is on Wednesday 1st October at 8p.m. in the parochial hall. Des Carton from Avoca Handweavers will give a talk entitled ’The Winter Garden’. Admission for non members €5 all welcome.

Enniskerry Gospel Choir are holding a concert in St Patrick’s Church, Enniskerry in aid of the 150th Anniversary Fund of ‘Churches Together’ in Enniskerry. Later this year it is the anniversary of both St Mary’s and St Patrick’s churches.
The choir, under the leadership of Dr Neville Cox, will perform an evening of Gospel music comprising arrangements of gospel and contemporary music with some original compositions written for the choir. This event is also the final appearance of choir co-founder Neville Cox as he is retiring from the choir this summer after 5 years.
The concert starts at 8pm in St Patrick’s Church on Saturday 14th June 2008 and tickets are priced €20 (concessions €15) including light refreshments afterwards in the Parish Hall by the Clock Tower. Tickets can be reserved by calling/texting Brian on 086 810 5692. Reservation is recommended.
