Knocksink Woods

Under the ownership of Duchas, the Heritage Service, the reserve winds its way along the Glencullen River from Enniskerry to Ballybrew and in total comprises of some 78 hectares.
Knocksink is home to several rare and threatened Irish species of plants and animals.
It boasts a purpose-built education facility about half a kilometer inside the reserve with a classroom, laboratory, a workroom and exhibition area. Knocksink is staffed Mon – Fri and caters for children and adults alike.
Tours are organised for both Primary and Secondary Schools and further information may be obtained from the centre at 01 2866609 during business hours.
