Enniskerry Village
richard January 17th, 2007

This extremely picturesque village, south of Dublin on the R117 and sign posted off the main N11 (5km/3 miles west of Bray), was built to accompany the manor house of the nearby Powerscourt Estate and is an excellent base from which to explore the surrounding countryside.
Enniskerry features superb teashops as well as a host of picture-postcard cottages and a charming village triangle.
The clock tower in the centre of the village is also a very attractive feature.
Lying in a beautiful glen of the Cookstown or Glencullen River, the wooded country around Enniskerry offers some fine forest walks.
