Carrickgolligan from the Glencree Road

Carrigolligan [known locally as Katty Gallagher or Katie Gallagher] is a low quartzite peak to the north of Enniskerry. It is easily climbed and provides excellent views from the summit.

The old chimney to the west is the remains of an old lead mine working situated in Carrickmines. The working was connected to the chimney by a brick tunnel which has mostly collapsed but is still intact in places.
