Enniskerry SFC – Results from 22/23 September

Another successful weekend for Enniskerry SFC saw 8 wins for our teams, with just 1 draw and 2 losses. Click Continue Reading for more details.

While the Under 8 E team lost their first match of the season 1:3 despite a goal from Cormac Barry, our other Under 8 teams remain unbeaten. The D beat Wolftone thanks to Ben Flanagan’s goal. The C team beat St. Fergals B 8:0 – Shane Flynn scored 4 goals, James Magire 2 and Stephen Maguire and Eoin Riordan one. The B team was never challenged by Wicklow Rovers B, winning 10:0, thanks to goals from Sean O’Callaghan (4), Mark Mullen (2), Dominic Corrigan, Adam O’Reilly, William Coogan and an own goal. Outstanding again the Under 8 A team, beating Arklow Town A thanks to a brace from Daniel McGovern.

Two wins also for our Under 9 teams. The A team beat Greystones B 7:2, recording their first win of the new season. Raymond Quinlan, Brion Kelly, Owen Corrigan and Jamie Dempsey added a goal each to Daniel Whelan’s hattrick. The B team won 5:0 against Wolf Tone – Peter Brown (2), Paddy Coleman (2) and Eoin Barnes scored. Our Under 10 team secured a goalless draw against St. Fergals.

Neither our U11 nor the U13 had a match. Our U14B won their Cup match against Ballyoughter 3:0, thanks to goals from Christian Dunne, Niall McLoughlan and David Creegan. Our U14A had a walkover in their cup match, as Lakelands could not field a team. No chance for our U15, loosing 9:0 at Sallins.
