Enniskerry Gospel Choir are performing an evening of Gospel Music in aid of both the Parishes of St Mary’s and St Patrick’s Churches (where the choir regularly appear in services) on Election day! Light refreshments included after the music and the evening starts at 8.00 pm in St Patrick’s Church.
The choir is led by Neville Cox and members come from the north Wicklow, south Dublin area. There will be a variety of gospel music and arrangements of other pieces in gospel style, as well as some works written specially for the choir.Â
Tickets are €15 (adults) and €12 (children/seniors) and are available from St Patricks Parish Office in the National School in Enniskerry village centre (Mon, Wed, Thurs, Fri 9.00 – 12.30) or via the ticket order line on 086 810 5692. It promises to be a lively and entertaining evening – an ideal alternative end to Election day … so:

The upcoming shield finals of the Wicklow District Schoolboys/girls League will see the involvement of 3 Enniskerry teams.
In the Under 10 Div 2 final our U10A team, coached by Richard Murray, will play Ardmore Rovers. This match will take place on Saturday, 19 May, at 10am in Wicklow at the hockey pitch. A day later, on Sunday, 20 May, at 10am, in Rathnew, the Under 9, division 4 final will be contested by two Enniskerry teams. John O’Callaghan’s U9B will meet the C team, coached by John Molloy and Andreas Traem.
All three teams appreciated the support of the community.
