Under 8
The B team played at Ashford and dominated the first half, but ran out of steam in the 2nd, thus loosing 6:1. Eoin Barnes scored. The C team scored an excellent 4:2 win against Coolboy, thanks to a goal from Ronan Wilson and a hattrick by Sean O’Callaghan. The girls of the E team played very well, loosing 2:0 against Ashford. The F team was not match for a very strong Arklow United side and lost 8:1, with Mark Cullen scoring a great goal. Having lost the home match at St. Anthony’s C by a scoreline of 6:1, the E team did not have high expectations when meeting their opponents at St. Anthony’s Park in Kilcoole. However, the team showed their best performance todate and held St Anthony’s to a 1:1 draw, thanks to a goal by James Maguire. The H team was less fortunate, loosing a 4:2 at Newtown despite Conor Bastow’s brace.
Under 9
The A team had to travel to previously unbeaten Wicklow Town A and recorded a marvellous 2:1 win, thanks to goals by Conor Farrell and Stuart Hallam. Two weeks ago, the C team beat the B team in a cup match by a score of 6:2. This time a very motivated B team beat the C team comfortably 4:0, thanks to a hattrick by Kyle Healy and a goal by Rory O’Callaghan. Unfortunately Luke Flynn injured his knee badly and will be out for several weeks. All the best and speedy recovery to you, Luke. The team needs you.
Under 10
The A team saw a very tight match against a strong Arklow Town B side. Goals by Lee Boorman and Fionn Sherlock secured a point. Despite some goal keeping heroics, the girls of C team lost 2:0 against Wicklow Rovers. The girls of the B team played a friendly against the Under 8 D. This was an interesting match, as there were several girls playing their younger brothers. Fortunately the game ended 1:1, ensuring the peace in some Enniskerry homes.

Under 11 & 12
Despite Luke Mannion’s goal, the Enniskerry Under 11 team lost 3:1 against Greystones. More success for the Under 12 team, they beat St. Anthony’s 5:2.

Under 13 & 14
The A team played a cup match against Aughrim and progressed to the semifinals, with Lee Walsh, Jessie bursey, David Murray, Ben Kirwan and Patrick Blah securing a 5:1 win. The U13 B team beat Greystones 3:2, scoring the winning goal in the final minute of the match. Hard luck for the U14 – goals from Mark Connerney and Cian Flood were not enough to beat Arklow United, loosing 3:2.

    Hello,

I am just wondering if the Luke Flynn mentioned in Enniskerry report from 24/25 March was an exchange student to Madison East High School in Madison, Wisconsin in 1986-1987. If so he may contact me at the above email address. Or he may go to http://www.classreport.org if he wishes to be located as a former student.
